Leak detection and repair

Water leaks can result in the waste of large quantities of water, increased water bills and affect the environmental impact of water use. New York Water, together with Hydro save, offers a leakage detection service to help customers identify leaks.
It is our aim at New York Water to help our customers to maximize efficiency and reduce water consumption. We find that water leakage is often present on many business customer premises, unbeknown to site personnel. Reducing this leakage can often result in considerable cost savings to our customers.
Together with Hydro save we offer a two-stage service designed to meet the needs of business customers and minimize leak detection costs. Hydro save were selected because of the technical capability, experience, professionalism and value for money which they can offer to our business customers. The survey information includes the layout of water services, access requirements, isolation points / valves, production patterns / shutdown periods, site-specific procedures and health & safety policy.
